High today around 50 degrees. It’ll be the first time in February that we’ve had a high in the 50’s. It’ll end a streak of 26 days where highs stayed below that mark. And just in time for the weekend we’ll have highs even warmer, in the mid-to-upper 50’s. Mostly sunny today as high clouds move in later this afternoon.

More in cloud cover on Saturday. On Sunday rain chances start to show up late day in our western counties and move across middle Tennessee Sunday night and early Monday morning. Highs tomorrow around 55, on Sunday with a brisk south wind we’ll actually get in the upper 50’s. These will be the first two days in February we’ve enjoyed highs above normal. It won’t last long- on the other side of the rain is the return of below-normal temperatues. Highs only around 40 on Tuesday and Wednesday.
