During the later morning hours we’ll watch this overnight rain change over to snow. Temperatures will hover just above freezing until the end of day when they will suddendly drop down to the mid-20’s my early evening. Notice where the blue (snow) is and where the green (rain) is on Predictor at 6am and then at Noon.

We expect about another inch of snow to fall over Nashville, Brentwood and Columbia; Clarksville closer to 2″. Slush covered secondary roads in the early morning hours with the rain and temperatures making them wet not icy. But with the snow coming on top of that expect a slow go in the commute. Many school systems (the western and central counties) are closed today.

Light snow on occasion with flurries this afternoon, not expecting much more in accumlation. The flurries continue tonight as lows drop down in the low 20’s.
A cold (and icy) start tomorrow morning, watch out for black ice. A strong west wind will have wind chills in the single digits. Highs tomorrow only around freezing with strong, steady winds.

well seems like im not getting any inch
