Light snow continues this morning across the eastern half of middle Tennessee. As much as an inch has fallen on the plateau overnight. We expect the flurries/light snow to continue to later this morning.
Cold winds and temperatures barely get to freezing- a winter day across middle Tennessee. The snow will continue to accumulate on the plateau where a wind advisory is effect for the day. Highs in Nashville just above freezing with wind chills all day in the upper teens or low 20’s. In this northwest flow with a major snowstorm in progress on the east coast, snow will continue to fly on the plateau into the evening:

TOmorrow highs in the upper 30’s and no talk of snow. Flurries possible Friday night down across our southern counties on the Alabama state line. A little snow is possible on Sunday for most of our area. More details on the chances/amounts as we get closer to that event.

Nice showers of snow continuing this morning with temperatures sitting at 21°….1+ inch in Cookeville….with more on it’s way.
We’ve actually got 2″ on the ground here in Cookeville. The water equivalent is .04″..very dry and powdery-type snow. Coming down quite heavily at this hour.
We have the same type of snow in McMinnville. Just not as much as Cookeville in accumulation although it is still coming down.
We’re getting a good heavy dusting in Manchester!
