We’ve got a Freezing Fog Advisory out this morning for all of Tennessee. You’ll need to take make some extra time for your morning commute and watch the bridges and overpasses. The problem is scattered about our area but seems to be worse around rivers and lakes with temperatures this morning just below freezing.
By late morning you will notice that we are on our way to some great pre-holiday weather. Highs today in the mid-50’s and partly cloudy.
Tomorrow some rain the first half of the day but again very mild, highs in the mid-50’s. More in clouds with the rain moving up to the north by early afternoon. Just a few showers to dodge in your shopping or commute times. Predictor show most the rain west in the morning and then north of I-40 in the later morning and early afternoon:

On Thursday, Christmas Eve, it will be windy and warm; some of the western counties like Decatur and Benton could get into the low 60’s. But it will be cloudy all day and very windy. Storms and heavy rain are possible by late day along the Tennessee river that borders the western edge of middle Tennessee. The heavy rain and wind will start to show up in Nashville in the late evening and all the way into early Christmas Day. That morning should be very windy but the rain should be tapering off. Later that afternoon the temperatures will drop from the upper 40’s (in the morning) to the upper 30’s by end of day. That light rain changes over to some sleet and then some flurries. Flurries and in the upper 30’s on Saturday.
