
The great Fall weather continues, lots of sunshine today and very dry air in place. Temperatures started in the 30’s this morning and end up in the low 60’s by afternoon.

Tonight lows will get close to freezing, another Freeze Watch is out currently for tomorrow morning. The typical growing season in Davidson county runs about 204 days. After an early start this Spring and still lows above freezing this Fall the growing season has now lasted 229 days.

Tropical Storm Ida is bringing tremendous rains in Nicaragua today. As it heads north Ida could strengthen again and head into the Gulf of Mexico. If the frontal passages time out right we could be tapping into some of this moisture by Tuesday, increasing the rain potential.
