A Freeze Warning is in effect for much of Middle Tennessee from midnight tonight-6am Wednesday morning. Most areas should drop to 32 or below for several hours overnight. In the heart of the city (including the official thermometer at the airport), the temperature may stop at about 33-34 degrees, but once you get away from the concrete and asphalt of Nashville, 29-32 degree readings are likely.
A Freeze Warning is defined as such:
FREEZE WARNING:
A Freeze Warning means sub freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
On Wednesday, expect some clouds to push in during the morning to midday hours with some clearing in the afternoon and highs in the low 60s.
