The two maps above are from The Storm Prediction Center showing the chances for severe weather with a line of storms that will push in with a cold front Friday afternoon-evening. We’ve seen many severe weather situations under a “slight risk”. We will monitor the situation very closely on Friday and give you the latest. Strong damaging winds are likely in some storms, and possibly a few isolated tornadoes.
Meanwhile, temps pushed into the low 80s today, with some breaks of sunshine behind a warm front. There will only be a slight chance for an overnight t’shower tonight with temps no lower than the upper 60s to near 70. A south and southwesterly wind will be increasing to 15-25 mph. We should touch 80 again on Friday ahead of the storms.
