Enjoy the outdoors this afternoon if you can, because tomorrow will be on the wet side. A low pressure center is forming in the Gulf of Mexico and will push towards Tennessee on Tuesday. This puts our rain chances 80% or higher tomorrow. The rain should be pushing in during the morning hours. One half to one inch of rain is likely with this system. It will push out pretty quickly, yielding a nice day on Wednesday.
The next system should bring showers and t’storms late Thursday and on Friday. Some of the storms on Friday could be strong or severe. It’s a little too early to pin down details, but we will keep you posted as the week wears on.
