Windy, Warm… Then Stormy

Temperatures this morning are more than 20 degrees warmer than yesterday morning. Highs today in the upper 70’s and very windy, gusts up to 30mph already recorded here in the early hours.

Cold Front Tonight

Predictor has consistently put the storms in Nashville between 6p-7p. A cold front arrives at the Tennessee River on our western boundry by 3-4pm. This front brings the risk of severe weather in the form of damaging winds and a sharp drop in temperatures. It should be in the Nashville area just after darkness sets in; temperatures in the early evening will drop from 70’s to 50’s. Heavy rain tonight, as much as 1″ to 2″ tonight.

THE WEEKEND

The rain lets up but continues overnight and through the first half of the day Saturday. Still thinking that the rain is gone by Saturday night for Halloween. That said, two of the four computer models show a second low moving over middle Tennessee bringing some light rain Saturday night. Sunday it’ll be dry but a high only in the upper 50’s.  The Titan’s game is at 3pm- we fall back the clocks Saturday night so it’ll be dark before the end of the game.  Predictor (and the NWS) calls for a dry trick or treat:

Tomorrow Evening
