The leading edge of the rain has finally begun to speed up. It now looks like it could be in Nashville between 5-5:30pm. That means rush hour could get wet, so drive carefully.
Although we don’t expect the weather to be as bad as it was in Arkansas and Louisiana, we still could see a few Severe T’Storm Warnings and Flash Flood Warnings tonight. The rain could get heavy. Don’t try to cross a flooded roadway.
The rain will taper off by lunchtime on Saturday, which is good news for Trick or Treaters. The front lawns will be soggy and temps will be falling through the low 50s to the upper 40s , so dress warm.
