We’ll reach about 90 degrees for an afternoon high today with lots of sunshine and, most noticeably, lower humidity. Dew points should be in the upper 50’s, very low for a July day. We are watching a cold front in the midwest that should be here by Thursday. We’ll have a very hot day tomorrow with highs close to the mid-90’s as winds turn to the southwest as the front draws close. Then big rain ahead, starting Wednesday late and especially Thursday. Thursday’s high likely only in the low to mid-80’s with as much as one inch of rain possible. Right now looking like a weekend typical of July of 09′ so far- unusually cool with highs only in the mid-80’s and dry.
Predictor shows Wednesday to be dry with the storms showing up in the evening. Perhaps a wet commute Thursday morning.
