Do the yard work today now that we’ve dried out some. Its been a cool start to July with an average high of only 83 degrees (yesterday’s high in fact). Highs today in the upper 80’s- they’ll be in the 90’s the rest of the work week and into the weekend. Mostly sunny skies today, just a few afternoon clouds building up as the winds continue from the northeast today (meaning lower humidity than yesterday). The dry weather continues at least until the weekend- maybe all the way till Sunday. The Buffalo River in Perry co. is over its’ banks, some of our southern counties (Wayne and Lawrence) recorded over 5″ of rain over the weekend.
A full moon tonight (The “Full Hay Moon”, The “Full Buck Moon” a few of the names for the July moon), it rises at 8:33p. A little less than 2 hours later Jupiter will rise and follow the moon across the sky.
