The front that moved through our area yesterday is weakening over northern Alabama this evening and the afternoon cloud cover is thinning out as the sun goes down.  We are still experiencing a low humidity which has made the weather very pleasant the past several days.  Tonight temperatures will drop into the low 60s for the majority of the area, although some places could make it into the upper 50s for lows.  There is a slight chance of showers for the evening, but not as likely as last night.  There is also a chance of showers for the 4th, however don’t cancel any plans just yet.  We will continue to watch and see just how large of a rain chance there is for the holiday weekend.
