You may know that on Saturday we tied a record “min max.” Nashville’s afternoon temperature of 76 was the coolest high on record since 1918.
Sunday morning the temperature fell to 57 degrees, which tied the record low set back in 1976.
This afternoon we’ve got our sights set on breaking a record.
The record “min max” for July 19th is 79 degrees, which occurred way back in 1897. As of 3:00 PM Nashville had only been up to 75 degrees, so today may hit the record books as the coolest July 19th in more than 100 years.
Join me on News 2 at 5:00 PM and 10:00 PM and we’ll see how long we can parlay this pleasant weather.
