Storms Speed Up; Fireworks Go Off In The Rain; Still Wet On Sunday

The second line of storms increased its speed from 35 to over 50 mph, arriving in Nashville just after 8pm.  The fireworks in Nashville went off anyway, although some others around Middle Tennessee were cancelled.

Tornado warnings were issued earlier for Stewart, Montgomery, Robertson, and northern Cheatham County.  Police in western Montgomery County reported two tornadoes near Woodlawn, but as of 9:30pm, no reports of damage were received.

Sunday still looks wet, with showers and a few t’showers likely.  Temps will stay in the upper 70s for highs because of the clouds and showers.
