Last Day For Amazing Weather

Friday will be our last day to be spoiled by this wonderful weather we’ve had the past several days.  Today will be much like the rest of the week has been: highs in the mid to upper 80s, partly cloudy skies, and a low humidity.  It will be a great day to go to the pool, the lake, or start your holiday weekend a day early.  Also tonight will be comfortable with temperatures in the mid 60s over night.  This should be a great evening if you can’t wait any longer to shoot off your fireworks.

Saturday will be a different story, however.  Saturday will start off clear but rain will move in somewhere between the afternoon and the evening hours.  If an outflow boundary develops ahead of the front we could see the rain as early as the afternoon, but this may not happen and the rain could come later in the evening.  Right now the time is sketchy, but most firework shows should go on.  The Nashville 4th of July Fireworks begin at 9pm, and will start on schedule unless there is severe weather.  The temperatures for the 4th will also be slightly warmer with a high on Saturday of 86º followed by a low of 71º overnight.  The rain from Saturday can be expected to hang around for Sunday as well, so it looks like a wet holiday weekend for Middle Tennessee.
