The cold front that come through last night causing the severe weather is to our south now. The winds have turned the the northwest overnight and cooler weather moving into our area. Highs today in the mid-80’s- the coolest day we’ve had since mid June! Predictor shows partly to mostly cloudy skies during the afternoon hours.

A tricky forecast as we get into Saturday and Sunday as weak shortwaves move overhead giving us storm chances both days. Timing and strength will be near impossible to gauge at this time; we’ll simply put down a 30% and 40% chance of storms for the general period. We’ll know more by Friday if any of the Firework shows will be threatened.
