We turn the calender into the first month of summer with a very summer day. We should hit 90 degrees for a high for the first time this year at the Nashville Airport (last time was Sept.13th, 2008). We also have for the first time this year an Air Quality Alert issued for our area: an Orange Alert for high ozone counts. Those sensitive to air pollution should limit outdoor exposure during the afternoon when ozone counts are the highest. For more about ozoneĀ click here.

The hot weather continues tomorrow with another day in the 90 degree range. A slight chance of an afternoon storm tomorrow but a much better chance on Wednesday and Thursday as a front moves in and lingers overhead.
