The showers and storms have all pushed east, and now we are waiting for cooler air to push in overnight. By daybreak we should see low 50s in north Middle Tennessee with mid 50s to the south. On Sunday, highs will only manage the mid 60s, and that is with some sunshine.
Sunday night into Monday morning, we are looking for a low of around 43 in the city, with 39-42 in some outlying areas especially north and east of Nashville, so you might put a light jacket on the kids when they step out to the bus stop on Monday morning (or when you head out to work).
Today’s storms produced more lightning and hail than anything else, but there was some wind damage in Murfreesboro, west of Carthage, in and Celina, TN. In Murfreesboro there was one minor injury when a small pavillion fell over at the New Vision Baptist Church.
