Although it was still on the chilly side, the sunshine’s reappearance made the 40 degree temperatures a little more tolerable, but don’t get used to it.  More clouds will push in late tonight and hang around for most of Monday, yielding highs in the upper 40s to low 50s in south Middle Tennessee.  Then the bottom drops out again tomorrow evening.  By sunrise Tuesday we should be seeing upper 20s for lows, followed by only low to mid 40s for highs Tuesday afternoon.  Tuesday night we should see mid 20s, but Wednesday afternoon we should manage low 50s followed by mid 50s on Thursday.
