The actual thermometer should reach about 98 degrees on Monday, with a dew point near 70.  That would put the heat index between 105 & 110.  Check out this Heat Index Chart. 

This type of heat can be dangerous if you work outside.  Make sure you drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade.  If you can go into the air conditioning for a while before resuming work, it will help.  Wear light colored clothing and a hat.

There is some relief in sight, though.  First, an increase in scattered storms on Tuesday will bring temps down several degrees, but still in the 90s.  By Wednesday, a front will push through leaving temps in the mid 80s after a half a day of clouds and showers.  On Wednesday night, temps will drop to the mid 60s, and Thursday’s highs will only be in the mid to upper 80s.
