While we can’t rule out pop-up isolated showers and storms before noon on Saturday, it looks like the line of storms that should develop in the heat of the day will come in to Nashville by mid to late afternoon.
Saturday could be more of a complete wash out for areas north and west of Nashville… say up around Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley. Storms could start up sooner and last longer there.
Otherwise the storm line that should come through Nashville in the late afternoon will continue into the south and southeastern parts of the midstate from late afternoon through early evening.
Then.. expect another round of scattered storms early Sunday. We should dry out and cool off a bit by Sunday afternoon.
Make the most of it! We need the rain!!

QPF has upped our rain chances. Now we’re up to 1.5″ of rain according to them. We sure need it.

[...] I can’t find many reasons to disagree with the storm timing that Lisa laid out in Friday’s post. [...]
