Scattered Storms on Saturday & Sunday
Warm and humid weather is in the forecast for the foreseeable future.
Southwest winds will boost temperatures to the upper 80s this afternoon. A front will move into the Mid-South this afternoon and cause scattered thunderstorms to develop. Additional thunderstorms are possible Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon as the front lingers.
The Storm Prediction Center puts Tennessee under a “slight risk” for severe weather today and tomorrow. Expect plenty of lightning with any storms that pop up, with hail and briefly strong winds under the strongest storms.

The latest Convective Outlook for TOMORROW has most of TN in a slight risk area again. This morning it only had areas from Nashville south, but now it has all of TN (expcept the Bristol/Kingsport areas) and all of Western & Central Kentucky, but only parts of Eastern KY.
