Heaviest Rains Thursday Afternoon/Evening
Scattered morning showers will turn in to downpours by afternoon and evening… especially across southern counties of middle Tennessee.Â
It still looks like some areas will receive as much as 3″ of rain in a fairly short amount of time, so flash flooding will be likely. TURN AROUND DON’T DROWN if you approach a roadway covered with water.

So it looks like now the heavier rain will be in the later part of the day.. Sounds good to me..

Good that heaviest rains should be in the PM. I slid at an intersection this morning I came to somewhat close to “fender bendering” someone at a four way stop this morning on the wet pavement. Wasn’t going fast at all.

I agree with the ‘turnaround, don’t drown’…no sense in trying to get across a flooded roadway…..
