Sunday Forecast

Middle Tennessee is mostly cloudy this morning with some drizzle and patchy fog. Right now temperatures are in the 50s, thanks to a southeast breeze. Despite some clouds and wet weather in the forecast, we should reach the 60s this afternoon.

It’s a stormy morning in Memphis; there’s a big cluster of thunderstorms pushing into West Tennessee.

The wet weather will continue to trek eastward, so our chance of rain goes up after midday. Areas west of I-65 will have the highest rain chances today, but just about all of Middle Tennessee could see rain and thunder this afternoon.

The rain chance continues tonight through early Monday, but we think temperatures will climb into the 70s tomorrow afternoon as a south wind really kicks in.

A cold front will bring more rain and thunder Monday night through Tuesday.

We’ll finally get a chance to dry out on Wednesday and I think we’ll need it!

After this we need a good day of full sunshine. Its been like what 5 days in a row where the weather has been mostly cloudy or just plain cloudy.

We’ve actually had some sunshine this morning here in Cookeville! I love it! Now, it is cloudy once again, but bright…

Rain is almost here… I wonder if we can get another inch or so today. Maybe.

Having been without water for several months last year due to the drought, I have to agree with Ryan and the others. Let’s get the drought erased and then ask for the sunshine. I’m glad we’ve gotten this rain, we still need it here in Coffee County.

Besides, it’s only been a few days of cloudy skies with patches of sunshine. Does anyone remember a few years ago when we only had 2 days of sunshine in the whole month of February? I remember Lisa talking about that. I know we had flooding one February a few years ago, I’m not sure if those two were the same year or not. What was that, 2002 maybe?

At any rate, I’m glad to see some rain and the overcast skies that come with it. The sun will shine again, just be patient!

Hey Cameron! All is pretty good, starting to get the gardens worked and will be planting in a few weeks; good to watch things bloom and grow. Hope everything is great with you too!

Jason why are you here? Most of us know you are just saying that stuff to annoy everyone. At the rate you are goin’ they’ll eventually delete your posts (and user names) I’ve posted on this blog for probably a year and a half or so. I’ve seen your type. Not wanting rain sometimes is understandable but wanting drought is ridiculous. It even effects you in the wallet. Okay, you’ve gotten your attention go annoy someone else please.

I think Jason got booted off ‘mice pace’ and got tired of playing on the Tele Tubbies, Barney and Baby Bop, along with Sponge Bob websites. He is obviously a kid who likes to ‘troll’ into sites like this one & stir things up.

Trust me, the right people at News2 have been notified of his actions. He will be dealt with accordingly.

    Clay…hey! I just had .20 in my gauge…

Hey cook im glad you know my type as I know yours, your a geek and have been your whole life. You think your a weather expert and your life revolves around it. you would rather look at a rain gauge then do something productive with your time so judge me if you like but look in the mirror and ask your self this question. DO I MATTER???????

BTW if news2 bans me or deleats my post I will save all of this and take it to the top of the company to show I have been attacked and this is nothing more than defending myself.

Jason, I have prayed about what to say to you…I have tried to be nice to you. I have tried to ignore you. It is YOU who ATTACK people. It is YOU who are rude and belligerant. It is YOU who need to look in the mirror closely….YOU DO MATTER. TO God, we ALL matter, but threatening people all the time and calling people names, being negative and conveying a bitter attitude towards everyone and everything is NOT the way to get by in life.

Most of us are trying our best to get you to understand that.

…so they will do what? Make you a new account so you can continue to annoy everyone. That’s stupid. Almost as stupid as the government paying New Orleans residents to stay in Louisiana.(oh and I heard that is true!!!) Why would take the time to do that and why are you here in the first place
