Its Going to Snow for Awhile

As long as it keeps snowing in St.Louis you can expect the snow to continue around here. Mostly just flurries but in some places a dusting of snow (a few times!).

We have about 1 1/2 inches where I live in Smith County. The only bummer, sun is shining and has been since about 6:30, not continually, but most of the time. Where is all that snow coming from Missouri at? I need more of this wonderful white stuff.

More toward G-town. No snow falling here right now. Hope we get more tho. But I’ll take what we have. It is the 1st big snow of the season. Any more in the upcoming forecast over the next few weeks?

Its convective snow showers, because of the trough that pulled through last night, the upper atmosphere is a little unstable, so when the warm sun hits the cold ground its creating convective clouds which is producing the snow, and since its cold at the surface, the snowshowers should prevail throughout the afternoon. with peeks of sunshine in between. I live in tullahoma, and we recieved 2.75 inches, and coffee county is in a snow advisory so hopefully we will recieve another 1- 2 inches!!!
