This is great! A new and cleaner and more enjoyable era begins on the site!

Weather Fact of the Day: January 2008 was 9.1 degrees colder than January 2006…and yet January 2006 still logged measurable snow. Go figure!!!

    Great new system.

I wonder if the mets could comment on the severe possibility on Tuesday. I’ve got an article I wrote after looking at current GFS data at http://www.tennesseewx.com

As the model runs have been looking, we may be in for a BUSY, BUSY day weatherwise in TN on Tuesday.

    Whatever…

Anyways, yep severe weather is still in, most of snow is now out. Looks like severe weather would be in the form of a squall line, meaning more high winds and some hail. There could be some light snow on the back end, but nothing big depicted in 18z GFS run. Tight temperature gradient supports SPC’s forecast.

We’re gonna end up getting 2 rounds of severe weather in a week’s time, & can’t even get a inch of snow to coat this ugly brown dead grass! :(

    To Mike in cookville.

Iposted under JD a few post ago and you ask me to back up why I thought the temps look high for Tommorrow. I beleave we will not get a good south wind blowing the warm air in and will stay in the 40’s but I could be wrong.

Now I have a question for you.

Why do you have to be such a defender of this site????

It’s not yours and it’s not like I was attacking news 2 I think you should drop a prozac and chill out for a while.

Great gob on the new log in this should help with all the crazy posting going on.

Wow this is EXACTLY what this site needed!! Thank you all for working so hard to get this up and running! Severe weather coming up y’all for Tuesday! I’m pretty stoked about it.. I just got off work.. Its late and I’m going to bed! Night everyone!

    Jason:

Glad you finally decided to reply back! :) Here are the facts my boy. We hit 53.2° today in Cookeville, so your criticism of their forecast was way off base.

Secondly, you can disagree without being disagreeable…I think you’ll figure that out eventually.

  22. on February 2nd, 2008 at 10:03 pm

FYI Boys and Girls…I registered both CookevilleWeatherGuy (my site name) and Mike From Cookeville (the name most of you know me by) so no other person could take it! :)

I am so glad they’ve starting registering!

This will keep the CLOWNS from appearing! :)
