Reports of sleet in places like Paris, Ridgetop, Springfield and White House Thursday evening.
You may get a couple of shots of these ice pellets and then some drizzle in the counties north of Nashville through the evening. Temperatures at the ground should stay above freezing so it should melt quickly.
It felt like a raw winter day out there on Thursday but warmer springlike temps are on the way… just in time for all the Christmas parades! Is that a good thing or not??
The Nashville Christmas Parade is Friday night. You can ride the Music City Star in for the parade!
Also, Christmas in Downtown Dickson runs from 5 - 9pm Friday night.

Amen, Cameron. It’s about time for some COLD weather!
About 90 seconds of light sleet while I sat on my back porch in Maxwell, East Nashville, at 7:45. The temp was 39. But it’s now 42, and either the sleet melted or it sprinkled, because my chairs have some standing water.
How I miss being a kid, kicking through the drifts, in the late seventies! I remember two storms a couple days apart, with wind, that made hip-deep drifts (for a shortie!). Maybe come January.
