Thick clouds will bring passing showers this morning, this afternoon and this evening. Strong winds from the southwest will blow at 20 to 30 mph. Temperatures will be in the 60s, but it will be a raw finish to the weekend. Some thunder is possible this evening, when the rain should be most widespread. Rain totals will range from 0.5″ to 0.75″ in most spots.

A cold front swings through Nashville by 9:00 pm and that will usher in colder air tonight and tomorrow. Despite sunshine, Monday temperatures will struggle to escape the middle 40s. A split weekend on the way, with mostly sunny weather to start. There were some clouds around early this morning, but a southeast breeze and sunshine will lift temperatures to the lower 60s this afternoon. A cold front sweeps in Sunday evening, bringing off and on showers tomorrow. Behind that system, much colder air arrives on northwest winds for Monday. Temperatures look chilly (40s and 50s) through the upcoming work week. It’s too early to call, but there’s an outside chance of some flurries Wednesday night on the Cumberland Plateau.
