A quick-moving clipper system will pass through on Wednesday, bringing some clouds and chilly conditions for the afternoon. A few isolated sprinkles are possible and by evening a few flurries could fly on the Cumberland Plateau. Temperatures will top out near 50 degrees around midday, but northwest winds will drop numbers back to the 40s in the afternoon. Lows will be in the upper 20s late Wednesday night into Thursday morning. Highs Thursday look chilly, in the 40s.
