A southwest wind picks up this afternoon to allow the highs to get to the low 50’s. High clouds will continue to come in from the northwest, getting a little thicker tonight. Lows tonight will stay above freezing, upper 30’s in the urban areas. Tomorrow a cold front sweeps through, a little drizzle is possible late in the day as temperatures fall. This could become a few flakes of snow up on the plateau tomorrow late. Below are the forecasted highs for today:

Man I hope we can get a few flurries Tomorrow. Heavy frost here in South Nashville this morning.

David, please leave Clay alone. He is a weather enthusiast just like the rest of us. His website is weather related and is appropriate. It is his opinion of the weather just as your posts are your opinion. I for one do not mind his links.
Clay, you go right ahead and keep posting the way you are!
David, please leave Clay alone. He is a weather enthusiast just like the rest of us and has as much right to post his weather opinions, whether via post of a link, as you do. Since his site is weather related, it is entirely appropriate. I find his website interesting and useful and don’t mind his mentioning of it here.
Clay, you keep posting as you are. Some people simply need to cut back on the caffeine
Clay, you can post if you want. I enjoy reading your forecasting blogs. Even when it doesn’t give me the forecast I want (SNOW). :o)
Well, as you can tell about forcast models.. Last week were supposed to be getting a decent snow this coming weekend, and look at those temps now.. 70 degrees.. They were off a little.. Oh well, i’ll enjoy the warm weather but then I want it gone! That is not winter temps if you ask me..
Chris its not about the forecast its about SPAM!!! Do you want people to start spamming TGO ?
According to Mr. James Spann, there will be a ridge forming up to the southeast of us preventing the colder air from coming down. This ridge will be very stubborn and probably won’t allow us to have any shot of snow and cold air til the 17th. I agree Ryan, I would not be surprised if we hit 70(or very near 70) at the end of the week.
cameron, please tell me this ridge will be short-lived! unlike last december where it was way to warm everyday!!!
No, I think its suppose to brake down by mid December.
They have been out putting down brine on the roads up here this afternoon. We have a shot of a little snow tomorrow morning here in South Central Ky.
It’s completely out of our forecast up here on the Plateau…dang!
Oh, and for little David’s sake, here’s my blogsite address!

Allow me to revise my last post, the NWS still has snow flurries in our forecast. I should’ve checked with them before saying it was taken out…darned ol’ WeatherBug.
