Sunday Forecast

High clouds blanket the area this morning, on account of the rain showers passing through drought-stricken Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas. We’ll be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s.

On Monday, we should enjoy sunshine in the morning and early afternoon. An arctic front will sweep through Monday evening; a quick passing rain shower is possible late Monday afternoon through midnight but don’t expect much more than that. A few flurries are possible after midnight.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be blustery and frigid, with highs in the 30s and wind chill temperatures in the 20s. Clouds may spit out a few flurries on those days. East of I-65, the higher terrain could see a dusting of snow. We’ll be watching it (and I bet you’ll be commenting on it!).
