Yay!! The snow low is back on the GFS. If you want to see want many computer models are saying I would recommend the PSU Electronic Map Wall. There is a link to to on this site but I will go ahead and give it to you.

*Pardon the typos* I’m bad about those and I typed this in a hurry.
Thw Weather Channel took all of the snow out of the forecast for the late weekend/ next week, and has the temps in the low 50’s.

TWC is a joke!
The Wacko Crackos!
Wooo.. That 18Z GFS is looking really nice to me.. but still things could change..
lets hold our breaths on this one!!!!!!!!!

132 hrs is sure out of no mans land but not in the safe zone yet. Can’t wait to see the 0z run.
I would take a look at ensemble forecasts rather then just the straight GFS model. If I am correct the GFS at nco.ncep.noaa.gov is an average of all the model ensembles. You can get 16 different possible scenarios with the ensemble GFS.
Shhhh.. dont remind me Clay.. haha
holy crap look at the 102 hr gfs so far… CAN U SAY SNOWSTORM!!!!!
OH WOW IS ALL I CAN SAY MAJOR MAJOR NOREASTER
Its gone on this one. But it still shows snow showers probably on the backside.
but the pattern is trending towards a major low tracking south of here
with cold air already in place anything can happen..
This is 2 model runs in a row
[...] mentioned in my entry below, we could break a 134 year old record on Tuesday. Rain and a few storms return on Wednesday and [...]
On the 0z that looks like and ice to snow to mix to flurries setup Saturday through Sunday. BUT.. I don’t buy it yet. If this thing get into NAM territory and it agrees then we have a different setup but remember that just 2 days ago the GFS was barely even hinting at this. As usual the GFS is pushing the track of the low to the North as it usually does, except this time it is actually in our favor.
Look at us, getting excited about every little chance of snow when our friends/ relatives up north are dreading the stuff. Oh well, I’d rather be a snow lover than hater it. Btw hr 120 shows some snow showers on the back side. Also I wouldn’t be certain on a couple of inches. If its gonna be warm all week and if this run follows through then it will really hard for anything to stick on wet warm grass. We need the ground to be pretty dry and close to 32 when a system arrives. Just a thought. We got plenty of chances throughout this season
News2 put snow in their forecast this weekend… Davis, Lisa, Justin and Jeff, You guys have got guts!
