A Little Sunshine Today

Finally we get the sun to reappear today after several days of rain and clouds. Clouds to start the morning but they should quickly clear out. Highs today will reach into the seasonable range: the low side of the mid-50’s. Tonight under clear skies the temperatures will drop toward freezing; we’ll have a little bit of a southeast wind so that might keep some of the urban areas from getting below freezing. Highs tomorrow in the low 60’s thanks to sunshine and a south wind. Below are the forecasted highs for today:

highs 11 27

Good to see more beneficial rain is heading our this weekend. NOAA’s prediction for a wet winter are looking to be right on track this year so far. MTWC Seven Day and Tuesday Forecast released. It is amazing how on every single storm in the long run the models back off on the snow part for our region.

We’re at 5.39″ here at my CoCoRaHS station in Cookeville..some in our area have measured more than that this month. We are quickly making up our deficit which was over 20″ short at one point.
