Cold Start to A Nice Day
Coldest morning of the Fall season so far as temperatures are below freezing up on the plateau and in the mid-30’s around Nashville and Murfreessboro. You’ll see some fog around but by afternoon wonderful weather in store for us with highs reaching into the low 70’s. Lots of sunshine today with a little bit of a southeast wind. That wind will hold the temperatures up tonight a few degrees warmer than this morning keeping us out of the frost/freeze catagories. I don’t expect another night near freezing until at least another week and a half. Just about perfect weather in store for us for Halloween night with temperatures dropping through the 60’s during the evening. Don’t forget that we don’t return to standard time (Fall back) until this Sunday so it won’t be getting dark till later (sunset at 5:52p), the first time in a long time Trick or Treaters have walked around in Daylight Savings Time.

Hmm… I couldn’t find any locations that were below freezing in Middle Tennessee. 33 is as low as I could find. Is anyone below freezing? MTWC Accurate Seven Day and Tuesday Forecast released. I have posted the lowest temp I could find at my site. Some correct me I you are colder.

My alarm clock was off a few days ago by an hour. I couldn’t figure out why that had happened until I read this post. It was expecting daylight savings time to end at the usual time and automatically set itself. I wonder, how many people were affected by that?

When I get home I’ll check my record low. I hope it was above 32. Dagwood for me it does matter. I want to know if my plants are ruined.

Could it be? Already? Could it happen before the turkey is put on the table this year?
