Thanks to Union Heights Elementary & Huntland Jr. High

I had the opportunity to visit two schools last week: Union Heights Elementary in Carthage and Huntland Jr. High in Franklin County. Of course, we talked about tornadoes and Stormtracker. We also talked about what it takes to get a BIG SNOW here in Middle Tennessee. Hurricane Katrina is still a topic lots of folks want to know more about, and as you know, I have a lot to say about that!
Boy did I get baskets of goodies from these two schools! Thanks! A lot of folks in our newsroom say thanks, as well. I noticed a few extra pounds walking around News 2, but don’t worry, those VJ’s will work off weight very quickly.
