Yesterday it was a warm front that pushed through getting the temperatures up into the low 50’s (the worst forecast miss I’ve had in the last year: I was thinking 45 for a high and it hit 54…wow). Overnight a cold front pushed through and this afternoon will be much different as a result. We watched the midnight temperature of 52 at the Nashville airport drop down to the upper 20’s by daybreak, with a little bit of sunshine we’ll see it warm-up to the upper 30’s (a little warmer to the south, a little colder to the north). No significant rain or snow chances showing up until we get to Sunday morning and then again on Monday night. Below are the forecasted highs for today:

Regarding the Monday/Tuesday event, seems the Euro is keeping the Low further South and Middle TN a better chance at winter precip (better than the GFS that is). Are you guys giving this solution much credit at this time?
The little hope for snow we had for Thurs/Fri has now been wiped out. That explains why the mets never gave it a chance. It was just an anomoly. Looking at the GFS forum, looks liek we have seen about all the snow we’re getting this year.
