Rain has already overspread much of the mid-state this morning. The wet weather has picked up in Nashville and along the I-65 corridor. Expect lots of rain if you’re out and about before lunchtime. Just noticed a lightning strike down near the Alabama state line (and another in southern Bedford County) where the showers are heaviest. It’s been three weeks since our last soaking rain in Nashville - at least temperatures are “comfortable” this morning. It’s not going to stay that way for long - wind chills will be down in the teens and single digits this time tomorrow!
