I borrowed that line from Carol Williams of Smithville who emailed the photo of the daffodils in full bloom:
And Jud Hays, pastor at Old Hickory First Baptist Church, snapped this shot of beautiful spring blossoms over at Summitt Hospital:
BUT we are about to say so long to mild temperatures! Rain shower Sunday night (mainly Nashville west and north) and Monday still look to move out before the coldest air spills into middle Tennessee Monday evening. We should drop just below freezing Monday night but most of the molsture will be gone by then. We still may get a few flurries or snow showers Monday night into Tuesday morning but I just don’t think it is enough to get excited about.
Hey, and the good news: We don’t have to worry about the ice which has plagued our neighbors in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, etc.

Those pics are depressing.. wheres winter?
-To Winter-
Where’d you go,
I miss you so,
Seems like it’s been forever,
That you’ve been gone.
Where’d you go?
I miss you so,
Seems like it’s been forever,
That you’ve been gone,
Please come back home.
Wow, I must’ve run everybody off. Where did the chatter go??
LOL HEYYY LISA!! I think everyones bummed about their own predictions..
sorry lisa guess it just seems nothing exciting is going to happen around here.
NO snow
no severe weather
no extreme temps
no flooding rain
just blah!!!
hopefully winter will return soon lol
A poem competition you want, eh?
No matter what it takes,
whatever the stakes,
I’ll find your flakes,
how ever long it takes.
Cold air aloft
brings a trough
full of snow
with a steadily flow
and some chilly winds
that winds through the bends
of the great TN valleys.
