I will never forget that snow!! It came on the first day of Spring break and was awesome. It seems like I remember us having thunder with that snow and I also remember the most beautiful snow drifts. What was the exact measurment of snow it seems like we had about 12 inches here in the Boro. Oh’ how I long for the good ol days!!
I remember that day …i was about 10 years old….we got a lot here in hohenwald. we had several good snows in the 90’s
Umm, I believe this storm is different from the one you guys are referring. This storm occurred in early January 1996. The big snow storm you guys are referring happened around spring break of 1993. The reason I remember, my brother was stationed in Panama City Beach Fl and they had flakes flying in the air down there. I also remember I-65 and I-24 being closed from Nashville South. We only got about 3 to 5 here in Nashville but the further south and east you went, the more you got.
I wasn’t around for that one, but I was in the Baltimore area in 2003. For some reason, that storm doesn’t get a lot of noise. But you this was one of the biggest storms on record in that area. In the area I lived in about 7 miles from downtown Baltimore, we received 31 inches.
