Which does not bode well for a “good” snow.

These “possible” snow totals would take us through early Thursday morning. We could get another round Thursday night that would give northwestern counties more (so don’t despair just yet).
Also take this map with a grain of salt… imbedded snow showers could leave some spots up north with more than areas south of I-40. I do think an inch is the best most of us can hope for with the system picking up speed. It looks as if the precip will end for northern counties in the early morning. The precip will continue in the southeastern counties longer but should change to rain.
You are right… higher dewpoints would give us a much better chance of snow reaching the ground. We will get the light amounts forecasted but if dewpoints could have climbed into the 20’s it would have made for something a little more substantial.
Sorry, I have been trying to post this entry for more than an hour but keep getting interrupted. So here it is.

Yes Lewis County school are still in session and appear they will stay in session sorry.
You know whats funny…..I have been checking about snow amounts reports on the NWS site from spotters and nonne have exceeded a dusting. LOL whoever is saying an inch plus is a liar beacuse the most reported was 1/4 inch in some city called Parsons. I mean even the heavy looking stuff over Alabama aint really that impressive either most reports indicate its having a really hard time reaching the ground too.
Oh well can someone say bust bust bust. LOL
Well by looking at radar it should be snowing in Joelton but it isn’t and guess its not going too…I think I will stay up until around 1am and see if I see anything then, if not I guess its off to bed I go. Keep hoping and praying.
SNOW in Columbia finally but anyayz alot of people are going to be surprised when the wake up in the morning
Shaq, You mean surprised as in getting snow or no snow?
Well thank you for the info… I am going to bed now GN everyone.. And BTW whoever is interested it is still snowing in hohenwald..
I will not be on here for the next 84 hours, as I consider whether or not I should still consider meteorology. I am so disappointed right now that I am seriously considering letting it go. In 84 hours I will be back with my decision. No snow tonight; I will pray about it and see what it is God really wants me to do.
most likely no snow Jennifer but hey ya neva know
it’s finally starting to snow in bedford. It’s more of a mix but it just started i hope to see more
Why 84 hours?
There is a good coating on the ground according to WTVF Skynetcam in Lawerenceburg
The storm will be over. I may reach a decision faster but I have to combine emotion and analysis…very hard to do.
Good site!!!
