Try to limit your exposure to direct sunlight this afternoon; we are going to have a heat index around 105 degrees today. Direct sunslight can tack on about 10 degrees to “the feel” so try to keep in the shade and drink pleanty of water. Only a slight chance of a thunderstorm today and tomorrow; looks like this heat will be with us most of the work week. Below are today’s forecasted highs for the middle Tennessee area.

It is tooo dang hot! I got to go to work at 10:00 A.m this morning, and my truck is already hot. I hope no 100 degrees with 70% humidity, that WILL kill me. Oh God, the lawn mowers are trying to dump the lawn clippings in the truck again. GTG
Bring it on. I, on the other hand, love the heat and love this time of year. Nothing like it. I wish I could bottle some of it up for January and February. I feel about the winter how some of you feel about the summer heat…lol
You know, I thought about going outside for lunch today but given the state of mugginess and the fact that my sunburn hasn’t faded, I think I am going to have to hide indoors. Poopie.
I’m going to guess that you don’t work outside for a living Clarence. If you do, then you have a high level of humidity tolerance that others don’t have. Days like yesterday and today are reminders that I’m glad I’m not a roofer, construction worker or a landscaper. Just brutal. I wish I didn’t live here all my life on days like today. Just completely miserable in my opinion. Thank God for AC and Cabo Wabo tequila to help me get through it…

Did it rain in Antioch earlier? I was out in Murfreesboro and when I came back the road was wet but the ground was dry.
