   MEMO TO MAY

   From the Desk of Servocrow, S.P.A.W.G.

   Dear May,

   While we are grateful for the precipitation bestowed on us by your predecessor, April, we would like to impress upon you this month’s key goal: MODERATION

   Moderation shall take three forms, which we will attempt to address in the following:

   1. MODERATE TEMPERATURES- Let’s face it, April was pretty naughty bringing on Summer’s temps so early….let’s keep it more “Spring-like”…okay?

   2. MODERATE PRECIPITATION- Many of us JUST planted our gardens and do not wish to have big, mud ponds in our back yards…Help us out there.

   3. MODERATE SEVERE WEATHER- Well….TONE THIS DOWN EVEN MORE…I enjoy a good thunderstorm probably more than most folks do, but it tends to make some dogs….and many PEOPLE have to turn to drink, drugs, and rock & roll…or worse…They tend to NOT READ THE FORECAST THAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN OR WATCH A TV OR LISTEN TO A RADIO…It’s a growing problem..

   We hope these requirements have been laid out as specifically as possible for you and we look forward to working with you in the coming weeks.

   The saying goes April Showers bring May Flowers. I think it should say April & May Showers means I have to cut my grass every couple of hours!

   The weatherdawg is back from his trip, and from what I can tell I had less rain and cloudy weather in the alleged grey, cold and miserable England then you folks had here in the south……. could it be an urban myth that does not exist….

    Welcome home weatherdawg! You might have had nicer weather in England but I but you have a nice, green, thick, tall turf that will clump when you try to mow your lawn. That is the price you pay for good weather on your holiday.
