Rain confined to the southern counties rest of the day as overcast conditions will persist elsewhere till afternoon. Rain chances will continue along the southern tier (along the Alabama state line) counties through early afternoon with warmer temperatures (upper 60’s) while Nashville and the north will be in the upper 50’s.

SURFACE LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP IN THE MID MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE
EXPECTED ACROSS MIDDLE TENNESSEE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. SOME
THUNDERSTORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE. THE SYSTEM IS A SLOW
MOVER…AND HEAVY RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE.
