Just want to let you know that a few thundershowers have popped between Cannon, DeKalb and Putnam counties east of Nashville. Nothing severe yet…but the possibility exists for some brief heavy rain, lightning and perhaps even an area or two with small hail. Some sunshine in West Tennessee could instigate a few more thundershowers through the afternoon. We’ll continue to wait and watch the radar with patience, you can check the “NWS Radar Loop” up top for the latest.

Justin,
It’s sunny in Murfreesboro right now. I know that will probably increase the chance of thundershowers or storms. Do you think most everyone will see rain, but only spotted severe if any?
call me impatient, but it’s hard for me to believe we have a 80% chance of storms now. i thought we were going to get hit with some good storms and heavy rain! dang it
The most recent NWS Day 1 Convective Outlook has most of Middle TN with only a 5% Chance of both Hail & Wind. We are not even in the Slight risk for severe weather anymore. This should ease any worries people might have had over severe weather.
Spotty showers and t’showers at best.
what about Hendersonville
