That certainly verifies all the eyewitness reports of Light and Dark….I can’t even think of an adjective to describe the picture…

    What power…..

Wow, that is a great picture. Is there any way you can email the original sized picture to me? chavron@lxcoupe.com

    Thanks if you can!

Also, if you want to put more of the pics up, I will gladly create a gallery and host them, then post a link here.

I’d really like to have a bunch of these pictures for a website I will be creating about yesterday’s events.

I’m at home now and don’t have access to the e-mail inbox, but the shot above wasn’t much larger in its original form. Maybe you could e-mail Davis and he could forward you some of the messages later this weekend? Let us know that address if the gallery idea comes together, there sure were plenty of amazing images yesterday.

I have a couple of pictures of the tornado forming over Cannon County that moved through Northern Warren County. The first one is a malformed funnel cloud, the second is a rain wrapped tornado near Center Hill in Eastern Cannon County. I have many damage pictures of the track this took through Warren County. Where do I need to send these?

The photos that you have been posting are phenomenal! I always enjoy seeing what viewers/bloggers send in.

This is a photo of the rainbow that was over my home (looking to the east) after the storms passed by Clay County.

I knew yesterday that parts of it would be classified as an F4. The way it flattened those huge brick houses in Gallatin gives it the F4 status.

    “Well built structures leveled”

It was either an F4 that was just as strong as previous tornadoes, or the fast rate that builders put up these houses these days makes them not nearly as strong as they used to be when people took their time to build a house. Don’t be fooled; shortcuts are made to get houses up at the rate they are built today.

I know this has nothing to do with the storms or weather but…. has anyone heard anything about the Ray baby? Has it arrived yet?

IT WAS A F3 TORNADOES FOR DICKSON.

    Davis,
Will you please (whenever you have time) post the tornado storm survey graphic that you just had on the air? I would like to send that picture to relatives. That gives a great explanation of how these supercells travel through from county to county, even if the tornado does not stay on the ground the whole time. I always learn when you are on the air, thanks!

There’s probably not another person that post on this blog that is as afraid of Tornado’s as I am, but they intrigue me very much. The thing that scares me the most about tornado’s is that no matter what you do to prepare for them the really only safe place to be is underground. I don’t know why they have to charge so much for storm shelters. I’ve seen prices from $2,500 up to $6,000. You can’t put a price on someone’s life but some of those prices are crazy. I won’t one so bad. I would do almost anything. If someone wants to donate one to me for advertising I would be more than welcome to be a demo. When they rebuild those homes destroyed by the tornado’s they should make it mandatory that they put in storm shelters. There is no reason the federal government hasn’t done something about this. Maybe we can all get together and start a petition.

What about apartments how did they do in these storms if any were torn up? Also apartments should have some area besides a bathroom to use during tornadoes some type of safe room. Also for help: monitor skywarn freqs. to be able to track these tornadoes. The url i gave has all that info. on there. this way you will know its coming even while watching tv
