Happy Thanksgiving! It will be a nice day across the mid-state, with sunshine and dry weather. Temperatures this morning will briefly jump into the lower 50s before falling through the 40s during the afternoon thanks to a northwest wind. I expect that by 5pm temperatures will have fallen into the lower 40s in most spots:

Black Friday morning will be cold, in the 20s! Travel conditions look good through the weekend around the Mid-South and Southeast. The Great Lakes and Northeast (as well as parts of the Appalachian Mountains) will deal with wintry weather today. Visit www.weather.gov to click on your specific destination for a forecast from the National Weather Service. Travel safely!
