Getting Warm, Humidity Still Not As Oppressive As Last Week

Today’s high was 93. Last Sunday it was 94, but felt a whole lot worse!
The reason: The dew point (measure of humidity on Fahrenheit scale) is in the 60’s rather than 70’s, like last weekend.

But what about summer t’storms? Though there were none in Nashville, there were scattered t’storms in south, southeast, and east Middle Tennessee both Saturday and Sunday afternoon. That’s where they are expected to break out again on Monday. However, by the mid to later part of the work week, the system causing those storms may back up to the west a little bit. That will allow more scattered t’storms across the rest of Middle Tennessee.
