How Warm This Weekend?

We enjoyed the 80s on Thursday and Friday - will it last through the weekend?

The forecast:

We’ll make a run at 90 degrees this afternoon in parts of Middle Tennessee. But that’s not unusual for late July - the normal high today is 89 in Nashville and I think that’s close to where we’ll end up:

Predicted highs for Saturday July 30th

The cold front that ended our “heat wave” last Wednesday has turned stationary and is falling apart off to our south. Because of that, clouds and scattered t’showers will stay to the south today and tomorrow. An added bonus for us - because we’re north of the front we’ll continue to enjoy a breeze from the north and comfortable humidity levels (for late July, anyhow).

Here’s a check of the rest of the weekend forecast.
